Although I expected the place to be nice, the pictures don't do it justice. It's much bigger than the pictures make it seem, and most of the amenities have been updated to newer ones (new TV, new deck chairs etc). Would recommended this house to anyone!
Arrive in Hawaii with 4 teenagers and you had better have some space! This home which is on a nice large lot has a great open plan living/kitchen area that opens to a fantastic and very spacious patio and pool area. Ocean breezes keep the home very comfortable. We rented bikes, which allowed the kids easy access to Alii via a short path that runs from the development to the main street. The path puts you at mile 2 on Alii. The home had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, barbecue, internet, printer, nice big flat screen tv, quiet safe location, views of the ocean. Really just a great spot! Bikes: As a side note, we rented 8 bikes (2 race and 6 city) from Cycle Station. For a low fee they actually will deliver them to your home.

My family and I had an absolutely amazing Christmas holidays in Hawaii and we were so happy with our accommodations. We loved the fact that we were in a quiet area yet such a quick drive away from Kona, we loved that we could walk down to the ocean and watch the sunset as the waves crashed in front of us, we enjoyed having the pool to relax in, and there was plenty of room at the house for us all to hang out together or have our on space as needed. We vacationed at this property for two weeks with two other couples and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is spacious and pratical with every item available to cook and barbeque for six people. The pool area and surrounding gardens are beautiful, everything we expected and more.The property is located in a gated community,neighbours are friendly and we felt very safe in this community.We would all return to this property again.MahaloAlexander
The directions were very good except we didn't have know which street to turn right into. We were told 1.5 mile from a certain intersection and completely missed it because it was already dark when we arrived. Only one roll of paper towel and no shampoo. So oily hair on the first night. Everything else was great and everything worked!

We brought our aging parents (both sides) plus our 4 year old and 6 year old on this trip. Everyone was so impressed with the accomodations! The home was beautiful, the views spectacular, and the aloha...perfect. The neighbor up the hill came down to say "hi" and to offer her children to play with ours if we desired some down time. It was a perfect "once in a lifetime trip" for all of us, and the memories will remain with us forever. Wayne, thank you for your kind hospitality.
Wow! What a great house and location. I can't tell you how great it was to come home after a long day of laying around at the beach and sightseeing and beable to jump in the pool and the hot tub and just relax as we watched the sun set over the ocean. Wayne, the rental manager was wonderful. We booked this house, literally, last minute and he was responsive and accomodating. I own a real estate company myself and it's always great when you deal with a knowledgable and professional agent on the other end. I really can't say enough about him! Our family had an incredible vacation at Kahakai Waterfall Hale! We enjoyed the beautiful home and all the ammenties it had to offer. The property was beautiful and the surrounding area very relaxful and breathtaking. It was a great location.
